Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC) is a naturally occurring polymer derived from cellulose and is widely used in various industrial processes, both in purified and technical forms.
CMC is a key component in the ceramic glazing process. Its temporary consolidating effect, before firing, enhances production stability, ensures uniform absorption, and prevents common defects such as dimples, cracks, pinholes, orange peel, and more.
